McLaren Vale, South Australia
Ox Hardy Wines
Ox Hardy is a tribute to five generations of winemaking heritage, born from a father–son project that continues the legacy of one of Australia’s founding wine families. The iconic Upper Tintara Vineyard in McLaren Vale has been in the Hardy family since the late 1870s, with vines planted as far back as 1891. Today, Andrew ‘Ox’ Hardy tends the land with his family, crafting expressive wines that honour tradition while embracing the future. With over 40 years of winemaking experience, Ox produces bold, site-driven Shiraz and explores emerging varieties suited to the evolving climate — ensuring the story continues for generations to come.

Yarra Valley, Victoria
Yering Station
Yering Station is Victoria’s first vineyard, established in 1838 by Swiss immigrants who brought their heritage and craft to the Yarra Valley. The Ryrie brothers planted the first vines, and soon after, the de Castella family from Neuchatel transformed Yering into a benchmark of Australian wine, gaining international acclaim with awards in Europe. Today, the Rathbone family continues this legacy, balancing history with innovation. Modern Yering Station is renowned for elegant, cool-climate wines that capture the character of the valley — from refined Chardonnay and Pinot Noir to expressive Shiraz — a tribute to its pioneering Swiss roots and enduring place in Australian viticulture.
